Penis Pump Fluid Retention

Have you ever experienced a bulge on your shaft after a prolonged pumping session? This is called fluid retention, water buildup, turkey neck, or donut effect.

It’s one of those common injuries where the lymphatic fluid builds up in the penis (usually on the bottom side) when you exert too much pressure or if you’ve been pumping for 15 to 20 minutes with Bathmate. It’s not deadly but it should not be ignored either!

Before you continue – read some reviews for Bathmate and see what people say – visit this page.

What are the symptoms?

  • The penis is swollen around the middle shaft as if there’s a billiard ball inside.
  • The skin is enlarged around the head that looks like a donut.
  • It’s not painful as it may look like. If you experience intolerable pain, seek medical attention immediately.

How do I cure it?

The swelling will go away after a couple of hours. You may massage it away or you will have a hard time urinating. You can also try jelqing for a few minutes and let it relax for a while (read our jelqing guide).

How do I prevent it?

Most men assume that greater pressure and longer pumping give immediate results. Unfortunately, this is not the case and you may even suffer permanent damage. To prevent this:

  • Do not over-pump. The best practice is to observe your penis’ reaction to pumping in shorter periods of time before going to the next level. Try going for 5 minutes first then go longer eventually. Just do NOT exceed 20 minutes! You can also do multiple short sessions than having one long session.
  • Do not abuse. Your penis is a sensitive organ and can get injured pretty quickly. Even if you don’t feel pain, it doesn’t mean that you did no damage to it. STOP if you feel pain. Also observe any discoloration as it may mean serious injury!
  • Read the manual. Don’t get too excited pumping. If you want good results, follow the instructions! Also follow a good routine for beginners.
  • Seek a professional advice. You might get shy going to the doctor, but seeking a professional advice is the safest and best option you’ve got.

Conclusion

It is common to have fluid retention but it should be prevented. Not only it looks hideous, it can also lead to more serious problems if it does not go away. It’s better to be safe than sorry!

I am 85 years old and had a stroke this past Jan. I lost a lot of use in my legs. My problem is that my feet, legs, and half of my body is in a swollen state. Also My penis and scrotum fill with fluid. The doctors have done everything from fluid pills to nerves in my legs and xrays but still don’t know what is causing the fluid buildup.

As a beginner, you may only want to do a few light 5-minute sessions. The easier time you give yourself at the beginning of your training the easier it will be at the end. The idea is that you don’t want to injure yourself or get too much fluid retention under your glans. To prevent this, you need to work your way up slowly. When I initially began pumping, I was going very hard in every session and often got fluid retention. I took a break for a few days to let my body reset. I then got back to it but this time, I started very lightly and worked my way up – I had no fluid retention.

Fluid retention is fluid that is stored in the inner and outer mucosa of what is left of your foreskin. That skin is more sensitive to fluid expansion. It makes your penis head look like an ugly puffed up donut. Many guys want to pump before meeting a girl or before having sex – in those cases fluid retention would be quite embarrassing. So the key is to work your way up to avoid this effect altogether.

Many guys like to jelq between their pumping sessions. I am a big fan of jelqing, but most of the time I do manual stretches. I think that it is a better way to prevent fluid build up and achieve more length gains.

I said I was 85 years old the fluid in my private parts has nothing to do with sex.
Just thought someone my age may have had the same problem.
